How to Measure Flat Panel Curtains

Measuring flat panel curtains depends on how you plan to hang them. Here are some general guidelines:

Coverage Area: Measure the area you want the curtains to cover, ensuring each panel covers the desired width.

For a fuller look, it’s recommended to multiply the width by 1-2 times to add extra fullness to the curtains.

Height:

Measure from the top of where the curtain will hang (rod or track) to the desired length, typically down to the floor.

Measure from the hole for the hooks to the floor + Bottom (Flat Hooks)

Measure from the clip to the floor + Bottom (Flat Panle)

1 Inch + Measure from the very top of the rod to the floor + Bottom (Back Tab)

Measure from the hole for the hooks to the floor + Bottom (Pencil Pleat)

How to Hang Flat Panel Curtains

Flat panel curtains offer several hanging options:

Flat Hooks:

Insert the hooks through the tape on the back and attach them to the rod or track. Secure the hooks approximately 5 inches apart.

Flat Panel:

Use clips to attach the top of the panel to the rod or track (note that rings and clips are not included).

Back Tab:

Slide the rod through the back tabs of the curtain.

Pencil Pleat:

Adjust the 2 cords on the back of the curtain header(4-in-1 tape) to create pleats, then insert hooks about 3 inches apart and hang them on the rod or track.
