Measurement Guide
  • Width Measurement: Measure the inside width of your window sash at the top, middle, and sill, as marked in the picture. Take the smallest measurement and deduct about 3/8" for a flush fit.
  • Length Measurement: Measure the inside height from your top sash at left, center, or right. Use the longest as your length.

Our Motorized Shades come with a remote control as the standard.

The number of remotes provided will correspond to the number of rooms in your order. Before shipment, we will pre-program the remotes so that one remote can control all motorized shades in a single room. If you have any additional requests, feel free to contact our customer service team.

Some Motorized Shades offer a Wi-Fi Hub option. The Wi-Fi Hub acts as a signal relay, allowing you to connect your motorized shades to your home’s smart voice assistants (such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings, IFTTT, etc.) via a mobile app.

      Cordless Shades!

      I used to have corded shades, and dealing with them was such a pain—I was always thinking I needed to switch them out. I finally decided to go with Curtarra’s cordless shades, and they’ve blown me away! They glide so smoothly; seriously, you’ll love the feel. My only regret is not making the change sooner!

      I’m also planning to get blackout shades for my bedroom and have no doubt that Curtarra will deliver once again.

      Beautiful!!

      I received my solar shades. I cannot believe how beautiful and well made everything is. I normally do Curtarra custom curtains, but I decided to give the solar shades a try. I am not disappointed. Customer service was outstanding; the guide was very straightforward. Quality and timely delivery were outstanding as well.

      Glad we pulled the trigger.

      We are so glad that we finally pulled the trigger! We had a hard time with the string pull roller shades over the years, but we love the cordless option from this company. The shades just stay where we want them to be, and the parchment color looks great too. We couldn't be happier!

    How to measure the pleated curtains?

    For pleated curtains, we will suggest the curtain width is 1x of the curtain rod/track, measuring the length from the eyelet ring where the curtain hooks are attached.
    How to understand the width of pleated curtains?

    For pleated curtains, the panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 2X-2.3X fabric fullness in default to create pleats and folds.

    • 2x Fullness for pinch pleat, tailor pleat, inverted pleat, and goblet style.
    • 2.3x Fullness for triple pleat and triple tailor pleat style.

    And panel width is from the left pleat end to the right pleat end, instead of the left curtain side hem to the right curtain side hem.
    Should I consider how much fullness is for the pleated header style?

    For pleats are permanently sewn to make, we normally make them in 200-230% fullness. For example, if rod or track length is 100 inches, you may order 2 panels each 50 inches width for pinch pleated, tailor pleated header style. You could also order more width if you prefer more fullness.
    What is stacking width?

    Normally stacking width accounts for 20% of the ordered width. So we would like to remind you that if you want the window opening to show completely when the drapery is opened, please make sure to consider stacking width when you decide on rod length.
    Should I purchase pin hooks for the pleated style?

    The order comes with plastic adjustable pin hooks (for pinch pleat) and metal hooks (for tailor pleat). Plastic adjustable pin hooks allow you to adjust curtain length within 3 inches. You still need to purchase rod rings separately.
    Are there instructions for the number of pleats for pleated curtains?

    Pleats pin hooks quantity: 10 pleats for 50" width; 13 pleats for 72" width; 15 pleats for 84" width; 19 pleats for 100" width; 21 pleats for 110" width, 23 pleats for 120" width, 27 for 150" width. The width and space of the pleats may vary slightly depending on your track or pole length.
