*Please note that an inside mount is designed to ensure the roller shade fits within the window frame. As a result, there may be approximately 1/4" light gaps on each side. If you’re concerned about light leakage, we recommend choosing an outside mount.

*Outside mount is versatile for different window types, no minimum depth is required. Ideal for any room with shallow sashes or deep window sills.
Measurement Guide
  • Width Measurement: Measure the inside width of your window sash at the top, middle, and sill, as marked in the picture. Take the smallest measurement and deduct about 3/8" to ensure the roller shade fits inside the window frame.

    With an inside mount, there may be approximately 1/4" light gaps on each side between the shade and the window frame.

    If light leakage is a concern, consider choosing an outside mount and increasing the width for better coverage.

  • Length Measurement: Measure the inside height from your top sash at left, center, or right. Use the longest as your length.
  • Width Measurement: Measure the outside width of your window casing at the top, middle, and sill as shown. Take its largest and add an extra 3 inches for ultra light control and privacy.
  • Length Measurement: Measure your desired height and record it.

*If you prefer maximum exposure when shades are fully rolled up, please mount them 4" above the top of the outside casing.

All of our Cordless Shades feature an advanced spring system with the following advantages:

  2. Convenient control – Stop the shades at any position with a simple pull, offering flexibility and ease.
  3. Durable quality – Built to last, these shades are designed for over five years of reliable use under normal conditions.

Our Motorized Shades come with a remote control as standard. The number of remotes provided will correspond to the number of rooms in your order. Before shipment, we’ll pre-program each remote so it can control all motorized shades in a single room.

Typically, all motorized shades in one room are grouped under a single remote. Based on the number of shades, we’ll select a remote with the appropriate number of channels. Our remotes can support up to 15 channels, allowing control of up to 15 individual shades.

All our remotes use Radio Frequency (RF) technology, which means they work through walls and don’t require line-of-sight.

Please note that the appearance of the remote may vary depending on the product. For specific details, refer to the images on the product page.

Some Motorized Shades offer a Wi-Fi Hub option. The Wi-Fi Hub acts as a signal relay, allowing you to connect your motorized shades to your home’s smart voice assistants (such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings, IFTTT, etc.) via a mobile app.

Each Wi-Fi Hub has a coverage range of 2,362 inches (approximately 197 feet) in an open space. However, if there are walls in between, the effective range may be reduced by half.

If you're ordering multiple motorized roller shades but only need one Wi-Fi Hub, simply select "Motorized - Wi-Fi Hub" for one shade and choose "Motorized - None" for the others. This ensures seamless smart control while optimizing your purchase.

    • Seamless Setup: Each motorized shade is shipped fully charged for your convenience. Upon delivery, simply insert the battery into the remote—or remove the insulation strip if pre-installed—and your shades are ready to use. No additional programming is required.

      Beautiful Product, Amazing Customer Service!

      I had a small issue at first—I ordered white roller shades but received beige ones instead. I reached out to Curtarra’s support team (they seem to be available 24/7, not sure though), and George got back to me right away. He promised to expedite the replacement, and within about a week, I got the correct shades.

      The packaging was really nice, and the shades themselves are perfect—sleek, simple, and so smooth to operate. But honestly, the standout for me was the incredible customer service. They really went above and beyond!
